Yesterday we enjoyed family and friends! Tracy and Andrea came over from TN and we all including Memaw and Poppy went to see the movie Cloudy with a chance of meatballs! It was a great movie and fun time for all! The boys spent the night at Memaw and Poppys and and the rest of us relaxed at home! I am so thankful for our family and friends and LOVE our hotel Giusti. I also love that my boys will grow up remembering the special times of spending the night with their grandparents.

We are HOME!

It is so good to be home! We had a most WONDERFUL week at the beach! We played on the beach and in the pool every and all day. The boys got to play golf with a caddie, pretty fun! and the girls had a day of shopping at the outlets! Mason and I hit Moe's for a mommy date that was well over due and Walker and I hung out on the beach for awhile after all the others headed in. We saw several dolphins and on the last night we were taking a family walk on the beach and saw a few sharks collecting dinner! Splashes and flips and smaller fish jumping all over!!!! We had a ton of fun! and loved being together as a family but also sharing this time with dear friends! It is very hard to have friends you can spend an entire week with 24-7 and love them even more when you leave! When we walked in the house the boys loved on the dogs and then disappeared into their room for hours! They loved being back with all their toys! Wonderful first adventure and one we hope to repeat often! Ice cream has become a staple!

Beach!!!!

We are on our FIRST ever vacation that wasn't to either see family or go to a wedding! Today was the first day of our 9 day vacation and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! We hit the beach at 10:00 after a yummy breakfast and played on the beach ALL day long with a brief break for lunch and a rest. The place we are staying is GREAT everyone has their own bed and the boys love the elevator! We had sun all day and came home for a movie, spagettee and BED! Lovin some fun in the sun! The boys have a sun~kissed glow and the adults are a well everyone applied their own so we are all a little stripped! Mike taught Mason and Walker how to body surf and boogie board and I believe they have a new love! We also got to see a horse shoe crab float by! Pretty fun and full first day! ~Smile~

The adventure begins

We have started many adventures over the past few months... the summer began with me staring at two precious boys thinking humm schools out, Mike is working and now what. So as a family we made a list- Zoo, Nature Center, pool, park, play at home, Movies and more, and one by one they were marked off. I really wanted to start a garden and with the help of my father and Mike building boxes and planting the seeds that took off I now had my first garden. We had a April, May and August full of birthday fun! Mike and I celebrated our 10th anniversary at the Biltmore. We had a few trips here and there and now we are welcoming the winter, school, this new form of communication and a new baby in April.
